This is the privacy statement (privacyverklaring) of Hartwig Art Foundation, a charitable foundation (stichting) incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, with its registered offices at Amstelveenseweg 500, 1081KL Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and registered at the Dutch trade register under number 75081547 (“HAF“).

HAF in its capacity as data controller may collect and use personal data while conducting its business. In simple terms personal data is information relating to an individual that allows the individual to be (indirectly) identified. Data privacy is important to HAF. What types of data do you collect and process?

HAF processes the following types of personal data. This data is provided by you to HAF or our partners at your own initiative or obtained by HAF through your use of the website www.hartwigartfoundation.nl (the “Site”):
 

  1. name, title, position within your organization and the organization for which you work;
  2. contact details (e.g. address, phone number, e-mail address);
  3. information regarding your visit(s) and use of the Site and/or services offered by HAF; and
  4. other data provided by you to HAF, if any.

For what purposes are you using personal data?

HAF collects and processes personal data to enable HAF to conduct its activities, operate and continuously improve the Site and to communicate with and inform you and other visitors about activities undertaken and/or planned by HAF. Personal data is only processed for the following purposes:

  1. (commercial) communications such as newsletters, announcements or information regarding past, present or upcoming events and other communications relating to HAF’s activities;

HAF will not share personal data with third parties except to the extent necessary for the operation of the Site and/or HAF’s other (operational) activities. How long is personal data kept for?

What about protection of personal data?

HAF has implemented technical and organizational measures to create a level of security appropriate to the risk of unauthorized access, processing, loss, destruction of or damage to personal data. To the extent HAF uses third parties for the provision of services such third parties will be required to take appropriate security measures to protect personal data.

What rights do I have with respect to my personal data?

You have the right to request HAF to (a) update, correct or complete inaccurate personal data, (b) to stop processing your personal data, (c) object to the use of your personal data, (d) provide you with a copy of your personal data held by HAF, (e) delete your personal data, (f) restrict the use of your personal data, and/or (g) provide you with a copy to be ported to an alternate provider.
