De Balie presents the work of American artist Tony Cokes. The exhibition Disco isn’t dead. It has gone to war (23 Dec. 2021 – 7 Jan. 2022)* consists of a selection of video works by the artist, presented across different spaces in De Balie and on the outdoor video wall on Leidseplein square in Amsterdam. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Hartwig Art Foundation.
* The exhibition has been cancelled due to covid restrictions. The artist and De Balie are looking into new dates for the exhibition in 2022.
